The Bureau

As section coordinator for The Bureau, this is the post that is going to get me in the most trouble.

If you've never heard of us, there is good reason. My section is trying to infiltrate a criminal enterprise by covertly monitoring a vulnerable vector around the clock, 7 days a week. I have assigned 7 agents who take a day a week each, a valuable strategy for the particular circumstances of the case, which I will not reveal at this time other than to say that monitoring by the same person on the same day of the week is deemed helpful in relation to weekly patterns. There is no need to give further details at this stage, but I'm open to doing so if it becomes in the public interest.

Our situation is that Tuesday's man is dead, and since yesterday morning, Wednesday is missing. Once again, I want to emphasize the profound loss we feel here at the bureau. Alan was a unique individual who will be sadly missed.
